Pro Pilkki 2 - Note 02: Bag of Hints

I read and collected a few hints and advices from the forum.

Someone suggests that you go to Sarkijarvi (translated as Roach Lake).
Nothing particularly big, but it will help you get the hang of things.

But I still have not found the spot of any particular abundance for good practice.

I think the ponds at Hossalaislammet are nice.

You could catch some pike and rainbow trout.

Need a little patience though.

Change zoom with the mouse wheel.

Zoom out.

Zoom in.

In this global view, left-clicking the "Local/Global" view icon cleans up the screen.

You can easily see where you want to go.

It works only at the Start Area. Left-click the "Drill" icon toggles the drill equipment.

The clock indicates you are changing the big drill (6") back to the normal one (4").

Left-click marks GREEN a spot you want to go to.

Right-click marks RED the spot AND you will start the drilling automatically when arrive.

By the way, if you see some fish blood stain near the hole, it means a big fish has been caught there.

Left-click and Hold at the worm. Drag and adjust the bait to a position you like.

Slipping in a bit.

Find your favorite.

If you want to renew the same type of bait, do it simply by left-clicking the "Hook with Worm" icon.

The clock tells you are handling the worm.

Left-click at the arrows of the Depth Gauge raise/lower the lure.
Left-click the rod to stop the reeling.

Depending on the actual depth, you could assess the surface, mid water and bottom.

There is a better way of doing this. Use the mouse wheel.

There are 2 types of grip on the rod.
I read of a way combining the two. But I have no idea the use of it.

Left-click and Hold is the "Wrist Grip", kind of pivot movement.

Right-click and Hold is the "Elbow Grip", kind of bodily movement.

You can adjust the sensitivity of the rod.
Left-click and Hold near the bobber. Drag forwards and backwards.

A bit too extreme for my like.

Stiff.

Left-click and check the "Terrain" view if you want to know where you are.

Look for breaks, channels, flats or check water depth using the "Contour" information.

Toggle the "Local/Global" view if you want to change location or get back to the Start Area.
